Why is sustainability important?

We all have our part to play in reducing the impact we have on the environment. Our homes and properties are currently responsible for around 20% of the total emissions in the UK1. One of the ways we can help is by improving their energy efficiency.

As a mortgage provider we want to help our customers understand the impact of home energy use and provide hints and tips along the way. Our Home Energy Efficiency Tool will provide you with your personalised energy-savings plan, and to help you make energy-saving improvements to your home we have additional borrowing green products that offer lower interest rates too.

When it comes to sustainability, we’re in it together.
